Modeling, 3D Printing and Co-Teaching at Meadow Hill

Meadow Hill Students on ChromebooksOver the past two weeks Meadow Hill ITF John Blakley led a variety of learning opportunities for students and teachers  including modeling Flipgrid in Ms. Quiroz’s class and then transitioning to co-teaching.   Students used the Promethean Board to teach other how to use the software,  and made videos to teach Spanish vocabulary words and phrases.  Steam was also a focus area, and students from Ms. Brooks, Odell, and Vicari’s classes solved real world problems and learned how to model using software on the Chromebooks.   The students will 3D print their models and present designs to share with other students to iterated and improve.

The students had a blast, they learn so much when they have to teach it. Using video made it relevant and fun. Thanks for sharing the amazing work our teachers and students are doing at Meadow!
